Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless, Cal. 25, Semi-Auto Pistol, MFG 1911, SN 48225, 2'' barrel, The left side of the slide is marked with the two line marking ''COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.'' & ''PAT'D AUG. 25, 1896, APR. 20, 1897, DEC. 22 1903, JAN. 25 1910'', The left upper front of the trigger guard bow is stamped with a Colt ''VP in an inverted triangle'' proof mark & ''5'' on the opposite side. Metal finishes are a mix of original blue & applied blue over pitting. Fitted with aftermarket plastic grips with screw that will not tighten to hold them in place. The magazine is marked: ''CAL .25/COLT'' on the floor plate. Bore is good, with roughness. Mechanically excellent. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
