Winchester Model 1873, CAL: 22 SHORT, MFG: 1888, SN: 281615, Lever Action Rifle, 24 3/8'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are very good. They display the original finish, which has worn thin & darkened from use. They display minor surface scrapes, nicks & contusions. The original metal blue finish on the barrel & tube have 90% coverage, toning a gray/plum as it thins, with some light speckling. The receiver rates 50%, with flaking & spotty loss.. Bore is excellent. Barrel carries an adjustable rear sight & standard front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth, crescent metal buttplate. Plain trigger. Comes with Cody Winchester factory look-up sheet confirming configuration & dates.* Antique, NO FFL Req. - Value: 4000 to 8000
