Winchester Model 1885, CAL: 32 WCF (32-20), MFG: 1893, SN: 61134, Single Shot Lever Action Falling Block Rifle, 24 3/4'' #1 Octagon barrel. Comes with Cody Winchester Records Look-up sheet outlining original configuration & dates. The look-up sheet indicates the rifle caliber as .22 WCF, which is likely a typo as the barrel is stamped & definitely a .32 WCF. However, the current barrel is shorter than the 26'' listed on the Look-up sheet. The straight grip wood stocks are good & solid, with numerous scrapes, nicks & dings. There are two small hairline cracks at the upper tang & edge chips along tang. The forearm has ebony inlay at tip & a 2'' splice wood repair at left front edge. There is also an open sling stud hole in the stock. Stocks carries added oils. The metal blue finish has toned to a spotty gray/brown patina, wearing thin. Bore is fair, dark & worn, with areas of pitting. Barrel carries a replaced adjustable rear sight & blade front sight. Metal crescent buttplate. Rifle has a couple of replaced screws. A well used, but solid rifle. Antique. NO FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
