Winchester Model 1886, CAL: 33 WCF, MFG: 1907, SN: 144216, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' barrel, Full mag. The straight grip wood stocks are very good, but with a 2'' toe repair. The stock has therefore been lightly sanded & refinished. The stocks display minor nicks & dings. The finish on the barrel rates 60%, 80% on the mag tube. The receiver, lever & hammer have been reblued & coverage rates 80%, with speckling loss & some minor rust pitting. The receiver has a screw filling a saddle ring hole on the left side. It also has two filler screws on left side from a previously mounted receiver sight. Bore is excellent & bright. Barrel carries a Marbles adjustable rear sight & late model blade front sight. Buttstock carries a metal windows peak shotgun buttplate, which may be a replacement as the Cody Factory Records look-up sheet indicates it carried a hard rubber shotgun butt.
