Winchester Model 1892, CAL: 25-20 WCF, MFG: 1899, SN: 107628, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' octagon barrel. The straight grip wood stock is a later period replacement in excellent shape, but slightly oversized along the receiver tangs. The forearm appears to be the original, which is good as sanded & re-oiled. The forearm has several scratches, dings, two small holes & fill repair to the front left edge. The metal blue finish on the barrel has toned to a chocolate/plum patina. The mag tube & receiver are worn to a gun metal grey, with small areas of spotting. The upper tang holds a replaced stock screw. The left side of receiver also has a replaced screw. The screws in the forend cap are also replacements. Bore is fair, dark & worn, with intermittent spotting/pitting. Barrel carries a replaced adjustable rear sight (Remington) & modern front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth metal buttplate. Comes with Cody Factory records look-up sheet. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 600
