GOLD ENGRAVED Winchester Model 9422M, CAL: 22 WIN MAG, MFG: 1979, SN: MR863A, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' barrel. One of two rifles which make up a special set, which are a Matched Set of just One Thousand sets. The gold engraved receiver has game scenes on both sides; a hare being chased by two hounds in a field setting on left & a squirrel jumping & one sitting on a branch in a tree on the right. The receiver top/bottom, lever action & hammer have oak leaf accents. The original high gloss deluxe, checkered, straight grip wood stocks are excellent, with only a few very minor finish scuffs. The gold receiver, lever, hammer & forend cap are all excellent overall. The metal blue finish on the barrel, tube & buttplate rate 99% overall. Bore is excellent. Barrel holds an adjustable elevator, rear buckhorn & blade front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth metal buttplate. This rifle's SN matches the rifle in the previous lot & makes up the matched set. A fantastic pair of rifles in highly collectible condition. FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
