BOXED, Winchester Model 1892 John Wayne High Grade Commemorative, CAL: 44-40WIN, MFG: 1992, SN: JW100H5061, Lever Action Rifle, 18 1/2'' barrel, full mag tube. Both sides of the receiver display a tribute to John Wayne, bordered by ornamental scroll engraving. On the left, JW on a horse & face portrait, the middle reading ''John Wayne American 1907-2007'' & on the right, another portrait of JW holding a lever action, reading ''Courage, Strength, Grit'', ''John Wayne, JW, Centennial''. The factory checkered, straight grip wood stocks are mint, solid & original. Inlaid John Wayne medallion in right side of stock. Metal blue finish on the barrel & tube rate 99%+, with 99%+ of a satin silver finish on the receiver, large lever loop & barrel band. Bore is excellent. Factory sights. Carbine style, smooth metal buttplate. Comes in factory box with outer sleeve, includes lock. Only 49,000 produced. A popular commemorative collectible. FFL REQ - Value: 800 to 1500
