CUSTOM SAKO L579 (Action), Bolt Action Custom Sporting Rifle, CAL: 243 WIN, MFG: 1960's, SN: 87137, Bolt Action Rifle, 24 1/2'' barrel. SAKO L579 receiver. The barrel is gold letter stamped ''CAL 243 WIN Custom Made for R.G. Peters by Murray's Gun Shop, Portland, ORE''. The custom select grade, Fiddleback Crotch Maple stock is excellent, with amazing tiger striped grain. It features a left cheek, smooth grip, burl wood forend tip & pistol grip cap. There are very few tiny handling scuffs. The metal blue finish rates 98% overall, with the receiver toning plum. Jeweled bolt. Bore is excellent. The rifle carries a Redfield 3x-9x scope & no open sight provisions. Buttstock carries a solid, black rubber recoil pad. Sling studs. A truly beautiful custom built sporting rifle in outstanding condition. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1200 to 2400
