Custom Built Winchester Model 70, CAL: 25-06, MFG: 1936 (Receiver) SN: 3459, Bolt Action Rifle, 23 1/2'' custom barrel. The Harry Lawson custom & exhibition quality stock is absolutely fantastic. The high grade distressed Myrtle wood displays unusual & wonderful grain. Customized with thumbhole grip & rosewood forend cap & pistol grip cap. The hand carved details exhibit an oak leaf motif amongst the finely checkered panels. The double arrow, multi wood inlay is also fabulous. The shape & craftsmanship of the undercut cheek is fantastic. The stock has only a couple of minor scuffs to the high gloss finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel & receiver rates 95%, with the receiver toning plum. Receiver has had four holes filled in the right rear side before refinishing. Jeweled bolt. Bore is excellent. The rifle carries a Redfield 3-9x scope & no open sight provisions. Sling studs. Stock fitted with a Pachmayr XXXXX ventilated recoil pad. A fabulous custom built sporting rifle.
