Winchester, Model 1905 S.L., marked 32 Cal., MFG. 1905, SN: 4471, 1st year rifle. Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' Round barrel. The original straight grip wood stock is good & carries the original finish. The forend is original with original finish, but has two non-repaired full length cracks to the left side, which is typical of virtually all of these Winchester semi-autos. Metal blue finish has thinned to a mostly transparent brown patina layer. Stock carries a well worn Winchester hard plastic buttplate, Bore is very good, with strong rifling. Barrel carries an adjustable Marbles rear sight & a Lyman front sight with brass bead, both replacements. There are two open holes on upper tang & behind tang in wood from a previous mounting of a tang sight. Original 5 shot --.32 CAL.-- marked magazine. Less than 30,000 total production, with a smaller percentage of those being .32 cal. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
