Winchester, Model 1890, .22 WRF Cal., MFG. 1916, SN:604805, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel. The Winchester wood stocks are very good & solid, as lightly sanded & refinished. There are still some small handling marks, light scratches & contusions. The metal surfaces are worn or scrubbed mostly silver, with added color or finish. The metal has scattered pitting & finish is a bit splotchy. Bore is good, but with areas of roughness. The magazine tub has dents & bumps & has been heated in a spot with a torch for a possible repair. The internal magazine push rod does not slide in & out easily & has some issues. The gun was obviously disassembled for refinishing, cleaning & repairs, & it appears that internal parts of the receiver are not functioning properly. The loading lifter & ejector doesn't appear to move. Pump action, hammer & trigger all seem to work properly & are smooth, solid & tight. This may only need reassembly or could be an issue with the parts. The gun has standard rear & front sights. Winchester crescent metal buttplate. Purchase as a project or for parts.
