Winchester, Model 61, Marked .22 S. L. or LR., MFG. 1932, SN: 1440, Pump Action Take-down Rifle. Early First Year Rifle. 24'' early tapered round barrel, with the patent still pending roll stamp. The factory flat knob pistol grip wood is excellent, with the original factory finish thinning in a few areas along the belly of the stock. There are a number of minor contusions or scuffs. Early small forend. Metal surfaces have 90% coverage of original factory blue, with wear due to pump action & a small area of cleaned rust pitting on the lower bottom corner of the right side of receiver. Bore is excellent & bright, Factory sights. Checkered factory metal buttplate. Rare 1st yr rifle in high original & collectible condition. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
