Browning Belgium Double Auto, CAL: 12GA, MFG: 1952, SN: A4895, Semi Auto Shotgun, 2 shot, Choke: Polychoke System, 26'' barrel. The original checkered & round pistol grip wood stocks are good, displaying the original finish with added oils. The have numerous contusions, nicks & areas of flaking, along with a couple of hairline cracks behind the lower tang. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 90%, but appears to be a professional older reblue as there are some buff lines, thinned proof stampings & the finish is a bit thick in areas, as likely done at time of compensator installation. The engraved aluminum receiver carries a Velvet or French gray finish, which is retained 90%, but has brown surface haze, along with some nicks & scrapes amongst the wear. Bore is very good, consistent with use. The compensator holds a single front bead. The buttstock carries a Pachmayr ventilated recoil pad. Gold trigger. LOP: 14 1/8'' over pad.
