Werndl Model 1867 Jaeger, CAL. 11.15X58R, SN: 869, rotating breech lock single shot rifle, 33 1/2 '' round barrel. Dark colored straight grain lightly lacquered on full length one piece stock is in good condition with some light scratches/dings. Marked on barrel above receiver ''St69' & ''WERNDL'' on top of receiver. Right sidelock plate has '' WURZINGER & 869''. Old military style steel buttplate with ''29. R.1.B over 3. 180'' stamped on top. Rear sight is blade with flip up elevator numbered 6 to 14. Front sight is small blade on block. The barrel & other metal surfaces appear to have been sanded/sandblasted & are bare steel with scattered light rust on good portion of surfaces. Bore is surprisingly in very good condition considering age/black powder use, clear, visible rifling with minor darkening. Retains original cleaning rod with dark brown patina. Unusual rotating lock breech loader. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 900
