Navy Arms, Muzzleloader, CAL: 50, MFG: Modern, S/N: none, 26'' octagon barrel. Muzzle loading percussion rifle. The stock appears to have been completely redone with nice brass inlays on forearm, wrist & buttstock, also 7 mother of pearl dots inset along bottom of buttstock. New lacquer over entire stock. Metal parts & finish are very good. The plum browned barrel is octagon, contains what may be artificially applied finish. Left flat stamped w; '' 50 Cal.'' Right sideplate displays same rust patina as barrel. Right flat of barrel reads: '' NAVY ARMS CO RIDGEFIELD NJ USA'' stamped. Rear sight is fixed full buckhorn notched, dovetailed to barrel. Front sight is large blade inletted to barrel. Trigger guard, ramrod opening, buttplate & patch box cover all brass in very good condiiton, some appear to have been replaced when stock was refinished. Brass tipped fiberglass ramrod is present & in good condition. Bore shows some light rust with vivid rifling. Excellent overall condition, Shootable muzzle loader. No FFL Req. - Value: 200 to 400
