German, Model: Carbine Military Trainer, CAL: 22 LR. MFG:1950's, SN: 9806, Single shot bolt action, 19 3/4'' barrel. Two piece original stocks w/ original lacquered finish. Pistol grip stock in fair condition w/ many scratches/dings throughout both lower & upper handguard. Buttstock does not have buttplate and apparently no provisions for one. Barrel retaining about 70% bluing. Receiver showing 70% bluing, bolt is in the white. Receiver ring marked with serial number & ''MADE IN GERMANY 22 LR'' no other markings seen. Rear sight is u-notch with screw adjustable leaf, Front sight is simple pin on base in dovetail adjustable for windage. Bore is very good, fairly bright with sharp rifling. Mechanical function is excellent. Basic, simple carbine trainer FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 100 to 500
