Browning, Saginaw Steering Division, Model M1919A7, .Cal: 308, MFG. 2010, SN: G3068, Semi Auto Rifle, 27'' Ventilated Round barrel. Metal components retain most of the reapplied parkerized finish & remain in excellent condition. Stamped on right side of receiver '' NO. G3068 U.S. MFR. GGI/ BROWNING SEMI-AUTOMATIC GUN/ U.S. CAL. 308 M1919A7/ SAGINAW STEERING DIVISION/ WAUKESHAM WISCONSIN'' Starting in the 1960s, Israel began to acquire many U.S. manufactured 1919A4 machine guns that were leftover from World War II, which they modified and converted for use for the next several decades. In the 1990's, many of these 1919A4s were brought back into the United States and sold as parts kits & assemble/sold thereafter. Complete with a US military M2 tripod that retains most of its reapplied finish, blued pintle, adjustable rear sight leaf, front sight & screw provisions on rear sight and M2 tripod for windage & elevation. Bore in excellent condition. Comes with several hundred disintegrating links. A great piece of American history & a blast to shoot! FFL Req. - Value: 3000 to 6000
