Colt Model 1861 Navy Pocket Conversion, CAL: 36, MFG: 1872, SN: 36906, Single Action Revolver, 4 1/2'' barrel. Matching SN stamped on barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, cylinder & ejection gate. Patent dates marked on the left side of the frame. Caliber stamping on the brass trigger guard. The walnut wood grips are very good, with an added finish layer. The barrel, cylinder & frame are all worn or cleaned to a gun metal grey, with areas of brown spotting & light pitting. Brass trigger guard & backstrap. Bore is good with rust spotting amongst strong bore. Pinched bead front sight appears to have been replaced. Ejector rod has replaced lever, which is loose because it is missing the retention screw. Antique, NO FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
