Brevete Colt Model 1851 Navy, CAL: 35, MFG: 1850-73, SN: 199731, Percussion Cap Revolver, 4 13/16'' barrel. Multiple Belgium proof stamps. The barrel, frame, cylinder, trigger guard & backstrap are all engraved with a scroll, floral & vine pattern. The synthetic grips are good, but have small edge or corner chips. The metal finish has worn gun metal grey, with thin layer of plum/brown patina (some added) & rust pitting & speckling covering all metal surfaces. Pistol is missing the ramrod mechanism & bottom of barrel has been ground flat in areas. Replaced wedge. Bore is poor, dark, worn & pitted. Barrel has been cut & carries no front sight. Matching SN stamped on barrel frame, frame, trigger guard & backstrap. Action & cylinder function, but cylinder spacing is slightly off. Antique, NO FFL Req. - Value: 100 to 500
