Smith & Wesson, Hand Ejector 1st Model (Model 1896), CAL: 32 LONG, MFG: 1896-1903, SN: 10689, Double Action Revolver, 4 Screw, 4 1/4'' barrel. The pearl grips are excellent, with very nice fire inside. There is a small edge or flake chip on the top of the right grip. The nickel finish rates 85% overall, with some surface speckling. Bore is very good. Factory sights. Action & cylinder timing function correctly. While this is a 4 screw model, there is factory 5th screw above the trigger guard, forward of the sideplate to retain the yoke. 19,712 produced. Trousdale Collection.
