Smith & Wesson, 4th Model, CAL: 38 S&W CTG, MFG: 1905, Double Action Tip-Up Revolver, SN: 506293, 3 1/4'' barrel. 5 Shot. Stamped with British Proof marks. The S&W checkered hard rubber left grip is very good, faded brown with normal wear. The right grip is the same pattern, but without the S&W logo & is black. Metal nickel finish is 70%, due to speckling & flaking loss, most wear loss on cylinder. Blued triggerguard toned brown. with rust pitting. Bore is very good. Action & cylinder timing function correctly. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
