Smith & Wesson Military & Police ''Victory'' ''UNITED STATES PROPERTY'' Model, CAL: 38 S&W CTG, MFG: 1942-45, SN: V42059, Double Action Revolver, 5 Screw, 5'' barrel. 6 shot. Stamped ''UNITED STATES PROPERTY'' on the top strap. The smooth wood grips are very good, likely replacements, with light contusions. The metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray, with a thin brown patina & some remains of original blue in protected area. Bore is very good. Factory front blade. Action & cylinder timing function correctly. Lanyard swivel on butt. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 600
