Savage, Model 1907, CAL: .32 ACP, MFG: 1907-20 this example 1908, SN:78, Semi-Auto Pistol, 3 3/4'' barrel. Although history indicates production began in 1907, real production didn't truly begin until 1908 as indicted by the 1908 production date of this very early two digit example. The original early production checkered metal grips are very good. Advertised with the slogan ''Ten shots quick!'', the Model 1907 was very popular because, despite its small size, it had a 10-round double-stack magazine. Approximately 235,000 produced. The metal finish has mostly worn gray, with pitting & some added brown patina. Bore is good. Fixed sights. Detachable mag. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 1000
