Francisco Arizmendi, Model Ideal (Ruby), CAL: 7.65mm (32 ACP), MFG: 1915-25, SN: 45352, Semi-Auto Pistol, 3.25'' barrel. Left side of slide stamped ''PISTOLET AUTOMATIQUE*IDEAL* / F. ARIZMENDI Y GOENAGA -EIBAR''. One of over 50 firms which produced Ruby Variants. Produced in Spain. The smooth wood grips are very good, but likely replacements. The metal finish has worn from & toned gray on the frame, while the slide carries a combination of original & applied blue. Rust pitting & speckling, with a small grind mark on top of slide. Bore is very good. V notch & blade sights. Slide, frame & the original detachable mag all stamped with matching SN. Stapled lanyard loop. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 500
