WONDERFUL, John Martz Custom 1920 Commercial Artillery Luger, 9 mm Cal., SN: 822K, 9'' barrel. John V. Martz was a well-known early modifier of Lugers who was active from the late 1960s-90's. He passed away in 2013. During his heyday, many of Martz's custom Lugers graced the covers of Guns magazine & other publications & are noted for their incredible high quality, fit & finish. The checkered wood grips are excellent, with crisp checkering. The metal blued finish rates 99%. Blade front sight & tangent rear sight. 3 Unmarked mags. ''DWM 22'' stamped on the toggle link. Eagle firing proof mark stamped on the breechblock. Bore is excellent. Proper ''GESICHERT'' markings on the upper safety position. ''JM'' in oval stamped on left breech. Has nice fitting wood stock. Stored in a custom built canvas covered hard case, with 28 live rounds stored in ammo block, two cleaning tools, 2 ebony handled screw drivers & 2 metal/brass oil viles. Truly a fantastic custon Luger! Trousdale Collection.* FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 3000 to 6000
