Winchester Model 1886, CAL: 33 WCF, MFG: 1906, SN: 141270, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' barrel (a possible replacement). Winchester began production of the 33 WCF configuration in 1903. The straight grip wood stocks are excellent, as refinished, with handling & storage marks to the finish. The restored metal blue finish on the barrel & mag tube rates 95%,& the receiver has been buffed, with remains of pitting. The reblue that rates 70% on receiver, with uneven spotting. Bore is excellent, with sharp rifling. The barrel carries an updated rear elevator sight & a replaced ramp/blade front sight. Receiver has two screw filled hoes on the left side of receiver from a previous mounting of a receiver sight. Buttstock carries a checkered Winchester marked, shotgun style buttplate. The trigger & hammer appear to have been replaced. A rare caliber rifle in decent condition.* FFL or C&R Req - Value: 1500 to 2500
