Winchester Model 54, CAL: 30-06, MFG: 1929, SN: 23243A, Bolt Action Rifle, 20'' barrel. The flat pistol grip wood stock is good, with original finish & some added oils. It displays numerous surface scrapes, contusions, nicks & dings. The metal blue finish rates 40% overall, toning gray. Bore is very good, with defined rifling. The barrel holds a two leaf flip-up rear & blade front sight. Buttstock carries a textured metal buttplate. The 54 was the first successful civilian production run of centerfire bolt action for Winchester. Appears mechanically smooth rifle. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 300 to 600
