The Hamilton Rifle Co. Model 027, 22 CAL (S. & L.), MFG: 1930's, SN: NONE, Single Shot, Tip-up Break Action Rifle, 15'' round barrel. 29 7/8'' OAL. The oval shaped, straight grip, lightly walnut stocks are good & solid after a glued crack repair at the top of wrist a& a small chip at left top along the receiver. The stocks also carry a several small scratches & dings. The metal surfaces have worn mostly to a brown patina, with thin & spotty remains of original blue. Steel rolled barrel over brass liner, later versions were changed to a steel liner. Bore is good, worn, but with visible rifling remaining. 12 groove bore with 1 turn in 16''. Blade front & early rear sight. ''S'' shaped trigger guard. Thin metal buttplate. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 150 to 300
