Mauser Model Modelo Argentino 1891, CAL: 7.65X53 mm. MFG 1895, SN: L6926 bolt action rifle, 29'' barrel. Stock appears original possibly refinished, in fair condition with age/oil darkening & scratches, dings/gouges throughout wood. Ground off Argentine crest from receiver ring. Markings on left side of receiver: '' MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1891 - MANUFACTURA LOEWE BERLIN.'' Matching SN on bolt & magazine floorplate. Exposed barrel & other metal parts are well worn with about 45% bluing remaining, less around the muzzle. Rear sight is adjustable notch sight, with graduation marks from 4 to 20. Front sight is dovetailed inverted ''V'' blade sight. Bore is fair w/visible rifling. Original sling swivel present. Military style steel buttplate w/ some dents/dings present. Action appears functional.. Overall condition is good with all parts original & complete. Antique No FFL Req - Value: 300 to 600
