Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine, CAL: marked 44 WCF, MFG: 1901, SN: 158331, Lever Action SRC, 20'' Round barrel, Full mag. This rifle has been professionally restored & has an excellent appearance. The straight grip wood stocks are excellent & solid, having cleaned & re-oiled. The stocks show a few darkened spots & very light handling marks. There is also a 1'' hairline at the wrist against the receiver on the right side. Wood appears excellent. The restored metal blue rates 98% overall. Bore is very good. Barrel holds a folding leaf rear sight & small blade box front sight. Stock carries a serrated metal buttplate. Original saddle ring. Smooth action appears to function correctly. An excellent appearing SRC in the desirable 44 cal. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
