J. Stevens A & T Co., Model Tip-Up, .22 Cal., Single Shot Rifle, MFG: 1886-1895, SN: 38701. 24'' Octagon barrel. Wood stock is very good & original, with original finish, light scratches & dings. Top side of barrel marked with ''J. STEVENS A&T.CO.'','' CHICOPEE FALLS.MASS.S.A.OAT.SEPT.6.1864''. Metal blue finish on barrel is a 50% of remaining blue & th balance toning to a plum/brown patina, with speckling & light rust pitting. The frame/receiver & tangs are nickel finished, with about 85% of the dull nickle remaining.Bore is fair, rough but with visible rifling remaining. Blade front & fixed rear sights. The release button, trigger & hammer appear to need some adjustment for consistent proper functionality. Very good overall appearance & condition. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 200 to 400
