J. Stevens & Co., Model: New Model Pocket Rifle, MFG: 1875-86, Caliber 30 RF, SN: 7984, Single Shot Action, 18'' Octagon to round barrel, All original with matching shoulder stock. The original wood grips are very good. The SN matching metal skeleton stock is also very good, but with most of the nickel finish having worn off & the attachment screw missing. Metal blue finish on barrel has toned to an even brown patina. The nickel finish on the receiver remains at 60%. Bore is fair, rough & pitting, but defined rifling. Rear sight is appears to be a partial replacement, bent & is missing parts. Front globe sight. Needs adjustment or repair, as hammer does not stay back when cocked & trigger floats freely. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 200 to 400
