Remington, Model 25, marked 25-20, MFG: 1923-36, SN: 31826, Pump Action Take-down Rifle, 24'' round barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent & solid. The finish is excellent, with few tiny handling marks & a small contusion on the belly of stock. The original metal blue finish rates 95% on barrel, 85% on receiver & mag, with the receiver starting to tone plum. Bore is excellent. Barrel carries the original adjustable rear & No. 3 silver bead front sights. Remington stamped crescent metal buttplate. These smaller caliber & light weight pumps were popular for small game & varmint hunting & most saw heavy use. With less than 32,000 Mod 25 rifles produced, this rifle is likely a last yr. production example A very nice condition & quite collectible rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1200 to 2500
