Springfield, Model 1903 A1, CAL: 30-06, MFG: 1938, SN: 1517141, Custom Built Bolt Action Rifle, 23'' barrel. The cheeked & flat pistol grip Monte Carlo wood stock is very good, with numerous small contusions & surface scrapes. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 80%, with a couple of spotty areas of thinning wear. The receiver has a thin plum to gray patina. Bore is fair, dark & worn. The receiver mounted with a Bushnell 3x9 scope, while the barrel has no rear sight provision & a ramp/blade front sight. Buttstock carries a Hawkins ventilated recoil pad. Sling stud & swivel. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
