Winchester, Model 490, .22 LR Only Cal., MFG: 1975-80, SN: J019666, Semi Auto Rifle, 22'' round barrel, Marketed as a deluxe model due to the checkered & metal capped pistol grip one piece stock. The original wood stock is excellent, with original finish thinning a bit on the lower portion of stock & few additional minor handling marks. The original metal finish is 95% overall. Barrel is fitted with a folding leaf rear sight & hooded ramp front sight. Bore is excellent. Winchester plastic buttplate. Five shot detachable mag. Nice original example.
