Remington, Model 6, .22 S.L.LR, MFG: 1901-33, SN: 362124, Falling block single shot rifle. 20 1/4'' round barrel, The wood stocks are fair & solid, having been altered some at the wrist where it meets the receiver. Stock has a 1'' & 5'' glued cracks on the right side of stock emanating from the upper tang. There is also a large chip at the right wrist & one at the buttplate on the right side of stock. sanded & non-professionally refinished. The bottom of the stock has chipping around the lower tang, with a few other minor scuffs. The refinished metal blue is 85% on barrel, while the receiver has 40% of an added finish. Bore is fair, with worn rifling. Barrel carries a rear sight base & Marbles Sheard long blade front sight. The stock is fitted with a Remington marked metal buttplate, with replaced modern screws. A popular boys rifle of its day, with nearly 500,000 produced. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 80 to 150
