VERY RARE Winchester, Model 67 BOYS RIFLE (Jr. Rifle), CAL: .22 S,L,LR, MFG: 1934, First year production, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 20'' round barrel. Large premiums are paid for these short barrel Boys Rifle variations as they are extremely rare. Additional premiums are paid for the early production finger grooved stocks. This configuration was only produced one year, as the early finger grooved stocks were discontinued in 1935, making this an extremely rare rifle. The stock on this rifle has been professionally restored factory standards. The factory flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, as restored after a one small peg filled hole on the belly of the stock, two tight glue repaired hairline cracks at the fore tip & a nearly invisible toe repair. The metal blue finish has 80% coverage of a thinning finish toning to a mix of gun metal grey/brown patina. Nickeled bolt handle, bolt & trigger. The bore is excellent. Mounted with original factory sights. Winchester plastic buttplate. A collector's quality & very rare variation, which presents in excellent condition. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
