Iver Johnson Arm's & Cycle Works, Model X, Safety Bolt Action, CAL: .22 S.L. or L.R, MFG: Late 1929, SN: 0739, Bolt Action Rifle, 22'' round barrel. The flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, displaying several small finish level surface scuffs, dings or scratches to the original finish. There are two hairline cracks at the top of the comb at the butt end. The metal blue finish rates 85% on the barrel & a spotty 70% receiver, with scattered haze & specking. Bore is very good. The rifle has an open rear dovetail & small blade front sight. Factory metal buttplate. A rare rifle with unique safety & bolt configuration. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
