Uruguayan Mauser DOVITIIS contract Model 71/94, CAL: 6.5x53.5mm Daudetau, MFG: 1880 SN: 84759, German made bolt action, 31 1/2'' barrel. The straight grip wood stock is very good, w/ an added layer of finish & multiple light scratches & dings. The #'s ''127'' are stamped on the right side of the stock. There is a small hole a the forend tip & a 2'' crack. Barrel & receiver carry aobut 80% blue toning gray/brown. Barrel is marked, ''S.F.A.P ST. DENIS''. Receiver marked with SN, ''I.G. Mod 71'' proof marks & ''1880''. Rear V- notch adjustable ladder sight with 4 to 8 adjustments on side & 9 to 20 on flip-up slide. Front sight is an inverted ''V'' on box. Bore is ivery good, with strong rifling. Mechanical function appears good. Matching SN's on bolt iin 3 places. Original metal buttplate. No import stamps on rifle. Has clearing rod. Brass trigger guard. Very nice example. Antique, NO FFL Req - Value: 300 to 600
