Hungarian Budapest, Model 1895, CAL: 8x50R, MFG: 1897 - 1918 's, SN: 1777G, Bolt Action Rifle, 30'' round barrel. The half pistol grip & finger grooved wood stock is good & solid. It has a darkened oil appearance, with scratches, dings & gouges throughout. The metal blue finish has entirely toned to a dark brown patina, with areas of metal grey. Bore is very good, with strong rifling, but appears slightly grainy. The barrel holds an adjustable ladder rear sight, with increments from 6 to 22 & a inverted ''V'' blade front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth metal buttplate. Receiver stamped with ''BUDAPEST M.95'' & SN. The barrel has proof marks & different SN. Its uncommon to find a M95 in the older 8x50mmR caliber. A good early collectors example. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
