Styer Mannlicher, Model 1895/30 Carbine, CAL: 8x56R, MFG: 1896-1920's, SN: 1898, Bolt Action Straight-Pull Rifle, 20'' round barrel. The refinished half pistol grip stock is very good, with minor handling marks. It displays matching SN as well as a couple other numbers. The metal finish appears restored, rating 97%, with a small area of thinning on the magazine hosuing. Bore is very good, with proud rifling & areas of roughness. The barrels holds an adjustable rear sight, with graduations from 3 to 22 & a inverted ''V'' front sight on band. Buttstock carries a smooth metal buttplate. Receiver stamped with ''STYER M.95'' & SN. The barrel has proof marks along with ''1898M'' & ''S'' stamp to indicate it was rechamberd to 8x56mmR. Original sling swivels on sides of stock. A nicely restored military rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
