CASED& RARE, Colt, Model P1850 SAA ''The Colt Silver Stallion'', CAL: 45 LC, MFG: Modern, SN: TLE197, Single Action Revolver, 5 1/2'' barrel. This 1 of 200 special edition series was produced honoring multiple enthusiasts throughout history, including a legendary lawmen Batt Masterson, who preferred a sharp looking nickeled SA Colt. According to documentation, letters in the Colt museum show him special ordering four different revolvers of the characteristic. This series also features a special factory serial number range. The two-piece walnut grips are excellent. The bright polished nickel finish is outstanding. The frame screws are 24K gold plated. Bore is excellent. Rear groove & blade front sight. Basically NIB in original blue Colt case, with owners manual, gun oil sample & other misc. paper articles. An excellent addition to any Colt collection. FFL Req. - Value: 2500 to 5000
