Allen & Wheelock. Model: Center Hammer Navy. Cal: 38 RF. MFG: 1861-64. S/N: 241. Single action revolver. 6'' barrel. The wood grips are very good, with light scratches & wear. No visible markings on gun. Metal surfaces is a gun metal gray, with a bit of thin brown patina. Bore is good, bright with light rust pitting & sharp rifling. Factory rear notch & vacant front sight dovetail. Action binds some when cocking back hammer & cylinder timing appears off. This is a very rare, low production SA revolver. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 500 to 3000
