Guss Stahl, Model: 1870 GASSER, Cal: 11.75mm, MFG: 1870's-80's, S/N: 260234: Double action revolver, 5'' barrel, The grips have the look of smooth aged bone, but they may be of some sort of plastic material. They are in excellent overall condition. The frame & cylinder has light decorative engraving. The cylinder is marked with the S/N, the left side of the frame is marked '' MONTENEGRO GUSS STAHL PATENT EXTRA QUALITY'' & S/N. The nickel finish rates 75% overall, with spotty areas flacked off. Areas of loss shows brown patina & some corrosion. Bore is fair, rough & pitting, but still with light visible rifling. Factory sights. Lanyard ring. Action & cylinder timing function appears correct. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 1000
