Hi-Standard Model ''B'', CAL: 22 LR, MFG: 1940, SN: 60582, Semi-Auto Pistol, 6 3/4'' barrel, 10 round mag. The left side of the frame is marked ''MADE IN USA THE HIGH STANDARD MFG CO NEW HAVEN, CONN PATENT PENDING 22 CAL LONG RIFLE'' & the left side of the slide is marked ''HI-STANDARD MODEL ''B'' ''. The HS marked & checkered black plastic grips are excellent, displaying sharp checkering & few handling marks. The metal blue finish rates 70% overall, with some blemishes & loss mostly at the grip straps & sides of barrel from holstering. Bore is excellent. Factory sights. The slide doesn't have the spring tension, nor appears function properly. Likely needs gunsmith adjustment or a minor part. Sold ''As Is'' with no returns! FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
