Astra, Model 1921 (400), Cal. 9mm Largo (380), Semi Auto, Mfg. 1921-50, SN: 77471, 6'' barrel. This pistol was the standard issue sidearm in the Spanish Army during the Spanish Civil War & also saw service in Germany during World War II. Designed to be safe to fire with a simple blowback action unaided by any breech-locking devices. The pistol also featured an internal hammer & left sided combined slide lock/safety behind the trigger guard. The checkered wood grips are excellent. The military metal finish is 95%. Stampings are sharp. Bore is excellent. Fixed factory sights. Astra stamped 8 round detachable mag. Lanyard staple. A nice example. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1000
