Winchester Model 1873, Marked 22 CAL. LONG, MFG: 1889, SN: 290593, Lever Action Rifle, 24 3/8'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are excellent. They display the original finish, which has thinned some at the carry points. They display minor surface scrapes, scratches & contusions. The original metal blue finish on the barrel & tube has thinned & toned to thin layer of brown patina. The receiver retains about 30% of the original blue, with the balance having a thin brown patina. The case-hardened lever, hammer & trigger have faint remains of case-colors. Bore is very good. Rifle is fitted with a Lyman flip-up tang sight, while the barrel carries an adjustable rear sight & folding globe front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth, crescent metal buttplate. Plain trigger. Comes with Cody Winchester Factory Records Letter confirming configuration & dates. Antique, NO FFL Req. - Value: 3000 to 6000
