Savage, Model 99C, CAL: 308, MFG: 1970, SN: A280750, Lever Action Rifle, 22'' barrel. The checkered & capped pistol grip wood stock is excellent, as lightly sanded & refinished. The stocks has minor contusions, dings & a few small areas of scuffs or wear, mainly on the left side of the wrist. The metal blue finish rates 90% on barrel, 70% on receiver, with most of the wear on the belly of receiver. The case-hardened receiver still displays fading case-colors. Bore is excellent & bright. The barrel has a flip-up leaf rear sight & an open ramped front dovetail. The receiver carries a new Nikon ProStaff 3-9x40 scope. Buttstock carries a Savage marked grooved metal buttplate. Gold tone trigger & jeweled bolt. Sling swivels. Comes with an extra magazine, a leather sling & the original box & paperwork for the scope. A ready-to-go & nicely set-up hunting rifle in a popular caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
