SMLE, Model: No4 Mk1, Cal: .303 British, MFG: 1943, S/N: FA26870A, Bolt action, 25 1/8'' Round barrel., The cut down, re-finished wooden stock is good, with lots of nicks, dings & scratches. There remains faint cartouches in the bottom of the wrist. The current black metal finish rates 85%. Left side of receiver is marked ''NO4 MK1 (F) FTR'', ''FA S/N'', ''NO4MK1ROF(F)7/43''. Barrel marked with S/N & proof marks. Matching S/N on bolt handle. Top of receiver carries a scope rail. No rear sight & banded front sight. Rail has been added. Bore is very good. Stock carries a trapdoor metal buttplate for cleaning kit storage, no kit present. Sling swivels. Comes with spare 10 round mag, approximately 60 Rds of .303 British (some round nose, some spitzer) & a Mershon Deluxe Slip on recoil absorber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
