Browning, Model BAR, CAL: 270, MFG: 1967-68, SN: 77797M70, Semi Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The checkered & flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, displaying the original finish, with a few minor contusions, surface scrapes & one larger scrape near the forend tip. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 99%, 97% on receiver, with some light speckling or spotting. Bore is excellent, with proud rifling. The receiver is fitted with a Leupold Vari-X II 2x7 scope. The barrel holds an adjustable flip-up leaf rear sight & ramped tall blade front sight. Sling swivels. Buttstock carries a Pachmayr ventilated recoil pad. Comes with a leather sling. An early Belgium made BAR in a popular hunting caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
